Starting my new page off with some pics of last months finds. The best being yesterdays 1834 sixpence. Hard to believe as we were all just posting our oldest coins, whats the chances of that.. Im still buzzing. Not to mention the two 1950 half crowns. A nice GOLD piece would of topped off last months finds, found only Gold plated treasures.
My favourite is the fish lure and the William IV 1834 sterling silver Sixpence. (sounds good doesnt it).

Some very old copper treasures here. The love heart brooch appears to be made of copper sheets id say and the sailing boat one appears to be possibly plated tin im not sure.

Items found at the first stop yesterday. The rock looking thing dings silver but its heavy. Ill have to chip into it a bit to find out what it is.
