All, as we are going to try the Reefton area, can anyone give useful advice for us on the three mentioned public fossicking areas and any advice on area with potential around the Reefton area?

hi nuggethead. i was over at slabhut on sunday and found abit.if you go down stream from the carpark 60m and cross the creek onto the gravel bank and down towards the tail end of the bank dig down there you will find something. also along the stream edge infront of the car parks is worth scratchin the sands from around the grasses and toitois for a bit of colour. good luck.
