Hi everybody!
I just do not know where to begin. :-)
Me and my girlfriend are going to New Zealand februari 2012. For (minimum) 2 months we are going to travel trough New Zealand, trying to find gold.
Because we have no experience at all, I will post a lot of questions in this forum.
I hope you will help me so we will have a great time.
We are from Holland and we travel low budget, hope to get some good info from you. :-)

Wellcome to the forum Reg...If you are that new to looking for gold..i would definatly spend a day or two at dansey's pass holiday park and go down to the river and pan...it is easy enough to get a bit of color in your pan,and they have pans there that you can use.
dont dig right in the water but just back from it in the gravel...and dont be disapointed if you dont get any in your first pan because you should in your second one and so on..it is very small flakes but it is gold none the less.
I get gold every time i go there,havnt been there in a long time as i moved out of the area but it is a great park and last time i was there it was reasonbly priced to stay there.
