hi guys, i'm looking at heading out exploring some new spots (get in the habit of the same old ones!) this weekend. anyone keen? zimbo?
if no one wants to detect i am always keen for some sluicing.
keen to try anywhere within a day trip of queenstown. maybe some hilltops if you're a keen walker.

I'm keen to go out when I get down there next. I have a brother in Queenstown so get down there a few times a year. Am planning a trip down the west coast and through central in a month or so....probably next school holidays as the family are too worried about earthquakes to stay home without me. Be a good time to get away too as my house is getting new piles, foundations, outer walls, inner walls, floors and ceilings! I dont really want to see my most valued asset naked. :(

There are quit a few of us on here from CHCH..we should really try and plain a hunt one weekend...would be cool to get all us cantabs together in one park
at the same time..lol.

While I agree it would be cool...I think that too many and too much will end up screwing it for evry body as the mess grows the holes grow and people start to notice more and more. Thats when complaints reach councils and the kill joys put the kibosh on things. Enjoy the hobby guys but don;t shoot yaself's in the foot by over doing things.

ya it was more of a joke for all of us to hit one park at same time..lol..but it would be good to get together with other cantabs one time or another...i know there are a few on this forum from CHCH and i would love to meet them and go do a hunt with them.. just as it would be great to do another hunt with you dan if i get down to timaru area..lol
always nice to meet new ppl in the same hobbie..and maybe learn things new about different area's and what not...
