Hi goldnut, I did explain in the post above the pic. 1" X 1" square spaced at about 1.5". Square....not hungarian. Very simple to make....& works. Keep it simple & dont try to get too techo.

Well I went to my local op shop and they gave me a bunch of wood and plywood for $5 and 2m x 1m chicken fence for $2 so I decided to make my own version of the bazooka gold trap. I just need to get some sealant to make the trap water proof. It measures 40cm x 12cm -> 22cm x 9cm. I will give it a go the next time I am out. Here are the pics. Earth first...we'll mine the other planets later.

I took that photo before I put them in... is that one your version? I made another one... bigger... while I was panning in the states and wasn't sure if I had got it right. I see that you have 3 tubes... I only used 2 and had 6 holes on each side of the tubes. I don't think i was getting hte agitation that I needed. How is it working for you? cheers Earth first...we'll mine the other planets later.
