Good day everyone,

I have 1 month old Fisher F2 for sale. Bought from http://www.puiakisupply.co.nz/.
It comes with standard 8 inch coil and 2x9V near new (charged 2-3 times) Enegizer rechargeable batteries (approx $25 each) + charger.

It is a great machine to start with. In my first month i found around $80 in coins / 1 Golden ring / 1 Silver ring / watches.
But its a time to upgrade :)

The detector is in perfect condition (was not in water etc), comes with the receipt and original packaging/box.

Viewings are welcome (Greenlane, Auckland).
If you are keen plz drop your offer on 021323313

Cheers,
Andre

Hello everyone! I have been wanting to get into metal detecting for awhile so i decided to buy the fisher f2 from Andre. He is on his way over to sell to me now and i'm super excited lol. I am currently living in hamilton and was thinking about going up to where an old hospital use to be just outside the cambridge area. If anyone has any advice for a newbie that would be great.

Cheers Dave.

Practice makes perfect so its a case of getting out there and getting the practice - unlike me it might pay to read the operation manual and familiarize yourself with it - might save the trouble I had - my son read the manual then was right into it and with success.

If I am in an old picnic spot or similar coin hunting I often take sample coins to test it out on - sort of re familiarize myself or when I am finding zilch test it out to see how things going and reassure myself thats all is well - When gold mining I take a small gold nugget and try it out every so often though recently I havent needed to do that as I am now used tot he thing and feeling much more confident...at the moment where I am if the device goes beep then dig it up because it is most likely gold and nothing else.

I think you made a good choice with the Fisher. Good luck and happy treasure hunting.
