Hi Steve,Hi Gavin,and HI to all.
Gavin, one of the main things that Steve didn`t mention in his list, is the danger that can present itself in the bush, or a river/creek situation, is that if you are wearing headphones ( as a good detectorist should) then you must always be VISUALLY aware of your immediate suroundings as it is extremely easy to arse over/down something whilst you are engaged in heavily concentrating on what you are doing.

At least we don't have to worry about bears and the like sneaking up on us over here though :P I wonder how many of these type stories fossickers over in Alaska etc. hear about?!
